Jesus Christ saves. Pray sincerely as an expression of your repentance, faith, and surrender to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I come before You acknowledging that You are holy and that I have sinned against You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I cannot save myself through my goodness, achievements, religion, or personal efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I repent of my sins and turn towards You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I receive You as my Savior, and I confess You as Lord over my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I surrender myself to You. It is the beginning of a new life with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus does not only call people to make a decision. He calls them to become disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A disciple learns from Jesus, obeys His teaching, grows through the Holy Spirit, belongs to the fellowship of believers, serves others, resists sin, proclaims the Gospel, and helps future generations know and follow Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After turning to Jesus Christ:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Begin reading the Holy Scriptures, starting with one of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Speak to God regularly through prayer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and obey God\u2019s Word.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Find a faithful, Bible-centred Christian church where Jesus Christ is honored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Be baptized as an expression of faith and obedience to Christ.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Build relationships with mature followers of Jesus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Turn away from practices that oppose God\u2019s will.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Share what Jesus Christ has done in your life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-fs-me-font-family has-large-font-size\">Continue growing as a faithful disciple.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not build your assurance merely upon the memory of saying a prayer.
